The New Bathroom!

I can't stand wallpaper! As I am sure you know, we share a house with my mom. I don't say "live with" because oh-we pay our fair share of bills, that's for sure! So when my father passed away he left my mom in a huge empty house :( She doesn't need to be alone. SO- we are here! Anyways, this house is huge, but still has wallpaper in some places. I HAVE to get rid of it! Phase one was the hall bathroom!

See the horrid wallpaper??
Yep- Horrible!
Ta-Da!
I just love it!
I love this color! It is bold and wild like me!

Project one- check! Next- Entry way!

Costumes, Costumes, Costumes!

Costumes have been such a big thing for Cameron since he turned two. We have accumulated a serious amount of costumes. Every day Cameron will pull out the bucket and start getting dressed :)

This is all within one hour.
I have NO idea what this costume is...
Spiderman #2
Pirate?
Army Guy- Note the serious face. HA!
Police Man

My camera died and that was NOT the end of the Costume Fashion Show. However, you get the drift :)

Baby #2 Heartbeat

On 6/1/2011 I heard baby #2's heartbeat for the very first time. How comforting! It was very clear and beating at 141 bpm! What an amazing little sound. I forgot (in almost 5 years) how amazing it is to hear that little noise. I am already head over heals :)

My Little Fish

I am so grateful that Cameron loves the water. Since he was a tiny newborn he has loved the water as much as Van and I. That is a good thing because we spend all summer and half of fall (because Texas is so wonderfully hot) in the water. I can only pray our next child is just as water friendly! Last summer (Cameron was 3) I taught him how to swim underwater, find diving sticks, and jump in the water! This summer he is a blast!

Going under!
I sure am a lucky Gal!
Jumping in!!!
This child makes my heart swoon :)

Dinosaurs Unleashed!

After seeing the billboard for the Dinosaurs Unleashed at the Fort Worth Zoo, I knew we HAD to take Cameron. Since he was tiny, he has been obsessed with dinos. I know boys like dinosaurs, but this kid LOVES them. Of all the toys he has ever had, the only thing to make the cut year after year, is the LARGE amount of dinosaurs Cameron has. At the Zoo, the dinosaurs moved and growled. Cameron was hesitant at first, but fell in love with every one we saw. It was by far the most fun zoo trip we have taken. I believe he was just the right age!

The first dino encounter! HA!

We really had a great time! Cameron carried the map the ENTIRE time (thanks Dora) to make sure we were going the right way:) I believe the map is in almost ALL of the pictures!

Baby #2 Update!

Van and I went for the monthly check on 5/25/11. My doctor tried to find the heartbeat with the Doppler and had no luck. So, he wheeled the sonogram machine in. Though it was quite uncomfortable pushing on my belly, he did find baby and the healthy heartbeat! Also, he pointed out how much the baby was moving and rolling. We actually got to see our baby wiggling around! It was so neat! We did not get a picture. Dr. H was simply there to find the heartbeat. (Sonogram Tech Farrah is much more picture happy! ) I am so glad we saw the baby moving and shaking arms and legs. It was the most reassuring visit yet! I am 3 days away from that 12 week mark and have the comfort already. I am ready to start enjoying this pregnancy! I have had enough morning sickness for about 5 moms! I did, however, get that heartburn prescription
already!

Thank you God for such an amazing life!!!!

Baby Makes Four!

I am excited to announce Van and I will be welcoming our new baby on (or before) December 12, 2011. FAMILY OF FOUR! I am only 10 weeks today. With Cameron, we waited to tell everyone until the "12 week" mark. This time, after TTC for 3 years, I can not possibly hold it in any longer! There are a few amazing things about this pregnancy I must get recorded!

1. We conceived at the EXACT time (well within 1.5 weeks) as we did with Cameron EXACTLY 5 years later.

2. After 3 years of TTC, we conceived naturally. (Nothing against anyone!) I took Clomid a couple of times and it made me feel horrible. Cameron was born with Group B Strep, so on a personal note, I felt if we were meant to have another child by God's will, it would be conceived naturally.

3. We found out on April 7, 2011. It was a bit funny. I LOVE me some coffee. Everyone who knows me KNOWS it's my thing! Well, on April 5-7 I tried drinking my morning cup and--- NOPE. I got so sick. On the 7th, while sick, I decided for breakfast I needed (badly) a Sonic Hot Dog... Yeah weird I know.

4. Van knew I was pregnant right when I told him #3. I thought he was insane. After all I had taken about 30 pregnancy tests over the last 3 years and all said a big fat NEGATIVE. I was not about to take another one. However, on the 7th I bought one and took it.

5. My heart melted on April 7th! POSITIVE!!!! Just for reassurance, I took 3 more :)

6. We had our first sonogram on April 27, 2011. The baby, yolk sac, and heartbeat were all detected:) The heartbeat was 143.

7. This pregnancy has been rough. I have been sick as a dog 24/7! I never, not once, had morning sickness with Cameron. I felt great until the last 2 months... come on it was hot and in TEXAS!

8. I have been so worried this time. I knew SO early. I have had time to sit and stew about the pending c-section. The first time it was different... it was a surprise and I had labored all day. I was so ready. I am terrified!

9. About 3 months ago Cameron began asking why didn't he have a brother or a sister? It was all he talked about for days. I was sad, of course, but tried to tell him, "If God wants you to have a baby brother or sister, He will give you one." And He sure did! We are going to let Cameron go with us to find out the baby's sex. He will have no clue about the baby until then! so, shhh! :)

10. I sold ALL our baby stuff. All except some clothes! HA! That's okay- I LOVE to shop!!! I do not care about the sex. I had already accepted the fact that Cameron may be our only child. I am so happy to be pregnant- I could care less. As long as baby is healthy. No 2 week NICU stays this time! Funny me, but I DO have a ton of boy clothing ;)
