Baby Makes Four!

I am excited to announce Van and I will be welcoming our new baby on (or before) December 12, 2011. FAMILY OF FOUR! I am only 10 weeks today. With Cameron, we waited to tell everyone until the "12 week" mark. This time, after TTC for 3 years, I can not possibly hold it in any longer! There are a few amazing things about this pregnancy I must get recorded!

1. We conceived at the EXACT time (well within 1.5 weeks) as we did with Cameron EXACTLY 5 years later.

2. After 3 years of TTC, we conceived naturally. (Nothing against anyone!) I took Clomid a couple of times and it made me feel horrible. Cameron was born with Group B Strep, so on a personal note, I felt if we were meant to have another child by God's will, it would be conceived naturally.

3. We found out on April 7, 2011. It was a bit funny. I LOVE me some coffee. Everyone who knows me KNOWS it's my thing! Well, on April 5-7 I tried drinking my morning cup and--- NOPE. I got so sick. On the 7th, while sick, I decided for breakfast I needed (badly) a Sonic Hot Dog... Yeah weird I know.

4. Van knew I was pregnant right when I told him #3. I thought he was insane. After all I had taken about 30 pregnancy tests over the last 3 years and all said a big fat NEGATIVE. I was not about to take another one. However, on the 7th I bought one and took it.

5. My heart melted on April 7th! POSITIVE!!!! Just for reassurance, I took 3 more :)

6. We had our first sonogram on April 27, 2011. The baby, yolk sac, and heartbeat were all detected:) The heartbeat was 143.

7. This pregnancy has been rough. I have been sick as a dog 24/7! I never, not once, had morning sickness with Cameron. I felt great until the last 2 months... come on it was hot and in TEXAS!

8. I have been so worried this time. I knew SO early. I have had time to sit and stew about the pending c-section. The first time it was different... it was a surprise and I had labored all day. I was so ready. I am terrified!

9. About 3 months ago Cameron began asking why didn't he have a brother or a sister? It was all he talked about for days. I was sad, of course, but tried to tell him, "If God wants you to have a baby brother or sister, He will give you one." And He sure did! We are going to let Cameron go with us to find out the baby's sex. He will have no clue about the baby until then! so, shhh! :)

10. I sold ALL our baby stuff. All except some clothes! HA! That's okay- I LOVE to shop!!! I do not care about the sex. I had already accepted the fact that Cameron may be our only child. I am so happy to be pregnant- I could care less. As long as baby is healthy. No 2 week NICU stays this time! Funny me, but I DO have a ton of boy clothing ;)

Easter 2011

Easter was lovely this year! Cameron was at a fun age and was able to take in ALL of Easter. We started out at Sunday School, followed by a wonderful service, then home to eat a great lunch! It was fun!!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

My Child will be the one who has a decorated holiday vest for EVERY holiday.... I have no idea where he gets that from. :) Cameron is obsessed with holidays. Christmas is the worst, so far. He will cry to put up the tree, begs to watch the Grinch everyday and sings all the holidays songs constantly. However, the past few weeks have been Easter. We have been hunting eggs since April 5th. I finally had to put it all away and say- STOP and wait for Easter. Although he did manage to keep one thing..

I Love My "Moffa"

This may be one of the craziest posts ever, but I had to get it recorded to show Cameron when he is grown. Cameron loves bugs. Like really loves them. On Sunday he found a Moth in his room and ran out need something to catch it in. Once we got him a Tupperware, the moth had flown away, or he should have. After all day of listening to Cameron cry for the moth, he was no where to be found. On Monday Cameron comes running out of his room yelling, "I found my moffa, I found my moffa!" So Cameron took the moth hostage and played with him all day. Ok this is where I should have stepped in but I couldn't do it! The moth had died sometime Monday and so Cameron was playing with it, taking it out, wanting a snack for it... yeah. So, Monday night after Cameron and "Moffa" are fast asleep Van crept in there and stole moffa. What a sweet daddy- he wan outside & captured another moth!

We put the New moffa back on Cameron's pillow and cracked up. Kids amaze me. Funny thing is on Tuesday the new moffa got away and he was fine. HA!

Mr. Potato Head

Everyday I see something Cameron does that makes my heart smile... this was one of them! Can you guess who he is?
Well, if you guessed Mr. Potato Head, you WIN!

Spring Has Sprung!

I love planting flowers. Well, let me rephrase. I love watching Van plant flowers! We made our annual Spring has Sprung rip to Lowe's and loaded up on flat after flat of pretty flowers! Cameron was more than happy to hold All the flats for his mom and dad ;)

Spring Break Blast

Spring Break was a blast... after the E.R. visit. We had planned a Sea World trip that fell through. BUMMER. We had a "Staycation." First we went to Lake Granbury and went fishing. This is where the "idea" sparked... Fishing was nice though. Cameron always enjoys fishing!

While fishing, Van and I had a wild idea to go camping. I was thinking 20 minutes away at Tres Rios in Glen Rose. Van was on a different page... So, we headed to Turner Falls, OK. BOy was it an adventure...

We didn't leave until way too late in the afternoon. Once we got there we had about 2 hours until total darkness. We found a spot, got the tent up (yes, I said tent) and got the fire going. We ate hot dogs and then it was 7:00p.m... and pitch black. So, we watched Veggie Tales on the Mac in the tent! HA! After a very long night, or short I guess, Van and I finally could not go back to sleep at about 3:30 am. We were sore, sleepy and ready to go! So, we put Cameron in the car, packed up our camp and headed to IHOP. (HA!) After a few hours of waiting for daylight, we finally got out and looked around the camp grounds. It was very pretty. (MENTAL NOTE: I will be RENTING to cabin next time!!!!!!) We drove home and went to bed :) We totally want to go again with cabins and other people :) Cameron loved it though!

After a couple days at home we went to Glen Rose to see the Dino Valley State park. It was pretty nest. Cameron is SO dino crazed that he just knew the dinos were going to come walking around the corner any minute! So cute!

A Real Dino Foot Print!

By then end we were pleased. Cameron had a great spring break and so did we. Van's vacation was a blast! The camping trip should have been sent into America's Funniest Home Movies. It was insane :)
