Aren't they adorable? I may be a bit biased, BUT they are pretty cute!

Madison is 6 months old!

Madison is already 6 months old! On June 5, 2012 she turned a whole 1/2 a year old!!!!

Her 6 month check up:

Weight: 17 lbs. 15 oz. (At 4 months: 16 lbs. 9 oz.)

She is 26.25 in. long (At 4 months: 24 in.)

Diaper size: Still holding strong at a 3

Favorite Solids: Bananas, Sweet potatoes, carrots, all fruits actually. She loves the cereal with apples and cinnamon.

Solids she dislikes: All the greens... green beans, peas... BUT I make her eat them :)

Favorite toy: Anything with lights and music!

Napping: She takes about 3 naps a day, 2 of which are usually a good length and the 3rd is a catnap.

Bedtime: Madison is NOT a fan of bedtime. She usually is very playful from about 9 pm through 11 pm. I have tried several tactics, but nothing seems to work. So, I am just rolling with the punches and trying to enjoy my LAST (yes, LAST) baby!

* Madison babbles and I LOVE it!!! She babbles dada, nana, mmmmmm, and baba! She is starting to connect "baba" to bottle. Cute :)

* Madison has the most beautiful smile! She continues to steal my heart by the minute! While she has been a very difficult baby... those smiles make it all better!

My Graduate!

May 30, 2012 was Cameron's Pre-K Graduation! I am so proud of my big boy! I can not believe we are approaching Kindergarten in a few short months. It is truly amazing how fast the years go by. Watching Cameron come out in his little graduation cap, made me want to scoop up my kids and run off to some island where time stands still. I fought back the tears as I listened to the Kindergarten song. I am so proud of my son and I am excited to go shopping for school supplies! (Yes, I am an office supply NERD! I love that section!)

Grossology

On 5/20/2012 we ventured out to the Ft. Worth Museum to see the Grossology exhibit. Growing up, my husband read the Grossology books, so he really wanted to take Cameron to see all the GROSS stuff. When you buy the tickets, you get to see all the exhibits. We had a blast.

What A Busy Life :)

Life as a mother of two is quite different than I thought it would be! Whoa... I am one tired mama! Madison is almost 6 months old! I can not believe it! I have been so busy! Madison is a very different baby than Cameron was. Madison is very clingy and won't sleep at night. She is so sweet and bats her eye lashes already. Though we are tired- she is the most amazing addition to our, now complete, family. Here is a quick overview of the last 6 months!

Christmas was very special this year. I had a difficult c/section recovery,

so things were a little different.

Madison weighs 17 pounds and wears 9-12 months clothing. She is in a size 3 diaper and has been for a while now. She is a strong baby. She has been standing with help since she was 2 weeks old. Madison is just about to truly crawl and she is babbling. She is my super advanced baby and Cameron was right on track. Madison is so very different. I feel like she is 9-10 months old. She does things so early and so fast. It makes me sad because I want to keep my last baby a BABY but she is refusing :( She has no teeth yet, but surely with her lack of sleeping, one must be on its way. I am so thankful to have 2 healthy kiddos!
