The Last Months Being a Mother to One...

Have been insanely busy! My life must be trying to show me a glimpse of the future. Here's what has been going on:

We were going to a wedding so I used the
opportunity to take a couple pictures:)
I was 30 weeks

Baby Madison is doing great! We had a sonogram on 10/5/11! By estimations, she weighs 4 lbs. and 3 oz. She had 138 bpm. Dr. H said her anatomy was PERFECT. Isn't that one of the best things to be told? Thank you Lord!

Spine and ribs :)
Knee, ankle and foot
Sweet pouty profile :)
* Madison's room is no where near ready... we haven't even painted yet. I believe we have the "Second Child" syndrome. "Oh we have plenty of time!" Uh huh, now it's time to get moving. If I even make it to the scheduled date (high blood pressure), from today, we only have 8 weeks and 3 days. Makes me want to get up and get busy!

* I never sleep. I have HORRID carpal tunnel syndrome and my hands fall asleep at night so bad that IF I sleep, it has to be sitting up. Lovely.

* I am getting less scared and more excited. I hope that lasts :)

Our baby shower was lovely! Thank you to the wonderful friends and family that helped make our day special. If you know Van and I, you know we have to be different! So we had a couples baby shower. Really, we just wanted a family/friend gathering with cake :) I am thankful to have such wonderful people in my life.

Van and I are so close. It was so much fun to share this with him this time. I know for sure, we make our own rules and will always in the future. Baby showers just for women- Psh! :)

Cameron is almost 5! Oh my goodness... what am I going to do?

2011-2012 Pre-K
We normally get Cameron's pictures done around this time but we decided to wait until December to include Baby Sister :)

Welcome to Crowley!

This past month has been a crazy one for our family! After many hard decisions, Van and I decided to move and my mom is selling her house. We moved to a nice little neighborhood in Crowley. We are 10 minutes from EVERYTHING! I love it! I was able to beg Cameron into Pre-K at the elementary school. His first day was 9-12-11 and we had to go equipped with uniforms and school supplies! After all the moving chaos, Cameron made it to school Monday and he had a blast! I only cried for about 1 minute. I was proud! They just grow up so darn fast-

What a big boy :)

Baby # 2 Updates

This pregnancy has been so different than my first. Oh my goodness...

*For the first 4 months I was sick as a dog. I have never felt nausea like that! It was INSANE! Every now and then I get a bit of it but it goes away. Thank goodness at about 14-15 weeks it started going away.

*I felt her move for the first time at 16 weeks. I love feeling those little flutters. I didn't feel Cameron move until 19 weeks.

*I have felt KICKS now. I felt the first real KICK, not quickening, at 20 weeks. She is active. I feel her at least once every hour. I am sure if I wrote it down it would be something like that. She isn't any more active than Cameron was... yet. We will see who wins for strongest and most often kicks as the weeks progress.

*I am carrying all up high. With Cameron, I carried him so low until the last month of course. This pregnancy is right in my darn chest.. well it feels that way anyways:)

* I have been 100 times more irritable, grouchy, moody, tired... need I continue? Than I was with Cameron. You would have never known I was pregnant... other than my belly. I think it may be the summer pregnancy. I don't know but whatever it is, I feel thankful for the wonderful husband I have who smiles and hugs me anyways:)

* People always say your second baby is different. I kinda of understand that, but with the gender being different it's kind of not. With Cameron, we had all furniture, bedding, clothes, ect. by the time I was 17 weeks along. This time we have the furniture and a few unorganized sets of clothing. I have the bedding picked... just haven't purchased it yet. I have plenty of time:) That may be the difference. When it's your second time around you know how long those 40 weeks can last :)
I feel brave to share this photo....
22 Weeks and 1 Day

*If you have read this far.... We have picked a name and I am ready to start monogramming!!!!

Madison KayLee Pearce

KayLee is special to Van and his family. He picked the middle name since I changed Cameron's middle name at the last minute to honor my dad who had JUST passed away. Some of Cameron's blankets actually say "Cameron Ryan Pearce." Oops :)

That's all for now. Buying baby stuff sure is just as much fun as I remember!!!!!!!!

ABC Bible Verses "A"

Camp is over and Cameron is not starting Pre-K until Sept. 6! He will be going to Firt United Methodist Church, where he had summer camp. We have 5 weeks to keep busy with fun summer activities! Cameron and I are "home" 4 days a week. I thought I would do a letter and bible verse for everyday! That takes us to "U" so we will have to throw in a double day there a couple of times. Today was "A."

"A gentle answer turns anger away."
Proverbs 15:1

He colored in the Letter A
Then he tore up red and green paper to glue on the apples
to give them color.
He was very proud of his work:)

On the bottom of his page, I wrote this:

The Lord’s been good to me
And so I thank the Lord
For giving me the things I need:
The sun and the rain and the appleseed.
The Lord is good to me!

I love this kid:)

Saturday Family Fun!

On Saturday, after Cameron's soccer game (which he scored a goal at!) we went to my brother-in-law's house for games and a BBQ. We had a great time playing Wii with 4 people... well it was interesting:) Dinner was great! Thanks to my feet swelling we had to call it quits around 8 p.m. Darn! Right before candy, popcorn and a movie :( But I did enjoy seeing the family and watching Cameron climb trees! The perfect way for a Saturday to be spent!

Isn't he darling?!
He even convinced Dad to climb! HA!

My Very Own SUPERHEROS!

I know you don't know who these people are. After all if you are a superhero and wearing a mask... your identity is kept secret 100%! So, to keep their identities safe... I have my very own SUPERHEROS! I have a Green Lantern AND a Captain America! How did this girl get so lucky! Watch out Lois Lane!

Saving the world one day at a time!

My Superheros for sure!

My Own Little Harry Potter!

This Pearce crew is a little obsessed with Harry Potter... can't help it. I will say it is 100% my husband & his family's fault! So, in honor of Van and I seeing the FINAL movie for a second time we made wands! I did allow Cameron to watch the first movie... but that will have to do for about 4 more years!

We pulled out the ol' dress up cloak and settled in to watch the movie!

Last Day of Camp and VBS!

July 30th was Cameron's last day of camp AND Vacation Bible School. The last day of camp was "Water Day!" I just loved his "MO-GAWK" I had to get the picture on here!

Make Way For Baby

It sure has been fun preparing for Little Miss Pearce. Van picked out the furniture and I love it. He did a great job! It will go great with Ladybugs!

This is what we picked for her bedding.
Just getting a head start :)

Cameron's New Room

Cameron has been so good about the baby coming! He has watched the furniture being delivered and assembled and has listened to everyone go on and on about baby. He is such a sweet kid. He never once asked for anything. Since Cameron is going to be a BIG BROTHER, we decided he needed to get rid of his nursery blue room. This blue room was the color we painted when I was 8 months pregnant with him. I remember creating this nursery for my first baby, sweet baby Cameron.

The bookshelf my dad made for Cameron
I can't believe I hung these! HA!
Well my taste has surely changed:)

This is by far my personal favorite room Cameron has ever had. We have had animals, dinos, construction zone, blue and green, and now Toy Story. My tiny baby is a big kid now.

Pink or Blue?????

Welcome to the GENDER REVEAL! We are so excited! This was our second appointment trying to find out the gender. Monday (6/27/11) baby #2 would not uncross his/her legs. So, we went home not knowing. Then today I had my regular visit, so I pretty much begged for another sonogram. Luckily the tech was the same one we had with Cameron. She knows us well and was more than happy to let us come it at 4:55 p.m. Here are the pictures :)

Look at those tiny toes! I am in love!
Baby's face :)

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kept telling everyone that I truly did not care about the gender. After a 2 week NICU stay with Cameron- all we want is a healthy baby. We are so excited- pink and purple here we come! Thank you Lord for all the many blessings in my life!
