The Great Bedtime PJ Drive

As many of you know, Cameron goes to preschool. (Thank Heaven for that!) I swear his school does so many wonderful things! This month is the "Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive." I am the crazy book lady who loves pajamas! Those are about my two most favorite simple things in life. Yes, I am the crazy lady who buys books for everyone. (In fact I just send my niece books for her birthday!) So anyway, if you are interested in any way here is the link:

This is a great way to do something good for a child. You have until December 10th! Please check out the link for more information! I believe, Scholastic will donate one book and pair of pajamas to children in either orphanages, foster care, or/and shelters. Cameron and I were very excited for "P.J. Day" at school on Friday!

Rock... a bye baby?

My son has all of a sudden become a Rock N' Roll crazy kid. I went to the Children's Place this weekend and he had quite an input on what items we purchased. WHAT? Luckily, I can persuade him to be happy and do it my way. I told Cameron to smile for the picture this morning and he said, "Rock and Roll BABY!"

This is the picture I snapped.

And Again.

Finally!

Not A Baby Anymore

My baby is four!!! What happened to all that time? When you are pregnant and someone says, "Enjoy it because time goes by fast" It is true. I can't believe it has been four years. A little trip down Memory Lane is definitely needed!

Cameron was born on November 10, 2006 at 8:18 p.m. (It was a Friday night) Cameron Tommy Pearce weighed 7 lbs. and 3 oz and he was 20 inches long :) It was a very bumpy start, as many of you reading this may remember. Cameron scored a 9/10 on his APGAR (sp?) and then another 9/10. Hours later he began to get sick... very sick. After 14 days in the NICU, we brought our baby boy home on Nov. 25, 2006. Because of God's grace, Cameron lived. The doctors had prepared us for, what they said, was the inevitable. But here he is today. 100% perfect! And down Memory Lane we go!

What a BIG boy!

Watching Cameron grow up has been an amazing blessing from God. Thank you!

Carving Pumpkins

(I meant to do this in order. Oops!) Well, carving pumpkins this year was interesting! Cameron carved his first pumpkins... almost all by himself. Last year Cameron did a great job but the years before he painted a pumpkin. Anyways, it was fun. He is changing so much that sometimes I feel lost and have no clue what I am doing. Surely I'm not the only one :)

He loves pumpkins so much- he actually slept with one. Yes, I found the pump[kin recently. I will have to upload that picture :)

Daddy helping... a little.

The finished product! He was very proud!

Transform!

Well, it has been a while! I have tons to blog but I will go in order! Happy Halloween! Cameron decided to be a Transformer this year. I didn't see that coming. The child has NEVER seen the movie (Foul language and way too old for him) nor does he have any toys pertaining to Transformers. Who knows! Anyways, we had a nice time visiting our neighbors and seeing family and friends.

My babies :) Cayden, Me, Carolynne, Cameron and Elizabeth (Yes, named after me.) I have been friends with their mother for 15 years, so they may as well be my nieces and nephew.
My boys!
My baby and me
All the kiddos! This was take 8 and I was done trying to capture a perfect picture form a 2 year old, almost 4 year old, 5 year old and a 6 year old. I was done :)

I love seeing all the kids dressed up! It is a fun time for children to be ALLOWED to wear their costumes out in public! I know if I would let Cameron, he'd be Batman at the grocery store!
